• Valid Provincial Security Guard licence is required.
• Experience in loss prevention techniques and processes.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent conflict resolution capabilities.
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods.
• Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Remain calm and composed in stressful situations.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor all areas of the property for theft and security threats.
• Monitor alarms and CCTV systems.
• Verify receipts at exit and conduct investigations as needed.
• Document and report incidents and hazards to management.
• Work with law enforcement to detain suspected shoplifters.
• Maintain incident records and logs.
• Ensure trespass documentation is completed and recorded.
• Assist with security policy development and implementation.
• Ensure compliance with Health and Safety regulations.
