Job summary

Keen Transport & Logistics Inc. is seeking a motivated commercial driver to operate in a two-person team, hauling goods across international routes with frequent travel.

This role requires a Class 1 license and Air Brake endorsement, plus a clean driving record and ability to perform thorough vehicle inspections. Training is provided, with on-the-road duties and cargo handling responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Secondary/high school diploma required.
• LICENCE: Class 1/1F/A (semi trailer trucks) and Air Brake endorsement.
• No experience required; training provided.

Responsibilities

• Drive as part of a two-person team or convoy.
• Load and unload goods.
• Obtain special permits and other documents for international routes.
• Oversee vehicle condition; inspect tires, lights, brakes, and equipment.
• Perform brake adjustments.
• Perform emergency roadside repairs.
• Pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections; oversee all vehicle aspects.
• Perform preventive maintenance.
• Receive and relay information to central dispatch.
• Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled, and fuel consumption.
• Tarp cargo and ensure safety and security of cargo.
• Transport and handle dangerous goods.
