Job summary

Chit Chats is hiring a Sales Representative in Calgary to identify and convert new business opportunities into active clients. You will build relationships with prospective customers, understand their shipping needs, present Chit Chats solutions, and guide decisions through the sales process.

You will manage discovery calls, qualify opportunities, and collaborate with internal teams to tailor pricing and service-fit. Strong communication and prior logistics sales experience are highly valued.

Qualifications

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Comfortable with cold outreach, discovery calls, follow-ups, and client presentations.
• Client outreach within Logistics (B2B) considered a strong asset.
• 2–5+ years of sales, business development, or account management in Logistics/Supply Chain.
• Experience in e-commerce, shipping, logistics, marketplaces, or small business services is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities through outbound & inbound leads.
• Conduct discovery calls to understand client shipping needs and growth potential.
• Qualify prospects based on commercial fit, shipping profile, and feasibility.
• Present services clearly and tailor discussions to client needs.
• Prepare pricing comparisons, proposals, and follow-up materials.
• Coordinate with internal teams for pricing and service-fit questions.
• Maintain CRM with accurate lead and opportunity data.
• Track outreach, follow-ups, next steps, and deal stages.
• Support onboarding and account management after close.
• Identify client needs for future product improvements and campaigns.
• Contribute to sales campaigns and market research efforts.
• Meet or exceed activity, pipeline, and revenue targets.
