Job summary

Chit Chats is seeking a branch leadership professional in Ontario to lead high-performing teams and drive operational excellence. You will coach staff, ensure safe and efficient location operations, and uphold exceptional client service aligned with our Caring, Curious, and Cheerful values.

Your role will involve coordinating with leadership and support teams, maintaining compliance, and fostering a positive culture while traveling within the Ontario region as needed.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in a leadership or management role.
• Strong people-leadership, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to coach and develop teams, manage performance, and build positive working relationships.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop people: Coach, support, and develop Branch staff, building a positive and high-performing culture.
• Support branch operations: Ensure locations are staffed, organized, safe, and running efficiently, with accurate shipment processing and strong service standards.
• Champion the client: Help your team deliver welcoming, reliable experiences and resolve client concerns effectively.
• Drive performance: Monitor operational goals, staffing, service quality, and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Keep teams connected: Lead regular meetings, share updates, and maintain clear communication between leadership, Branch staff, and support teams.
• Maintain high standards: Oversee compliance, facility upkeep, safety, security, scheduling, and other operational requirements.
• Promote a culture that reflects Chit Chats’ values of Caring, Curious, and Cheerful.

What You Bring

• Two (2+) years in a leadership or management role (Prior shipping and logistics experience is an asset but not required).
• Strong people-leadership, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• The ability to coach and develop teams, manage performance, and build positive working relationships.
• A practical, adaptable approach and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• A commitment to Chit Chats’ values: Caring, Curious, and Cheerful.
• Class 1 safety shoes with a green triangle patch.

Additional Information

Total Rewards and Compensation

• Salary: Starting $55,000.00 CAD/annum.
• Employer paid Group Benefits (Health, Dental and Vision; 100% coverage).
• Annual Year-End Bonus.
• Birthday leave (Paid).
• Two weeks paid vacation (negotiable)
• A rich GRSP plan eligibility after 3 months of employment
• This is a Permanent Full-Time position.
• Some travel within Ontario region may be required.
