Job summary

Collage in Peterborough, ON is seeking a Logistics Manager to oversee the movement of raw materials and finished goods, manage inventory accuracy, and optimize routes for fuel efficiency. You will coordinate with multiple teams to ensure on-time shipping and compliance with GMP/SOPs.

Responsibilities include scheduling shipping staff, managing drivers, maintaining equipment, and driving cost saving initiatives while preserving safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Lift Truck certification is required.
• University level education, with previous management experience as asset.
• General knowledge of logistics and operations.

Responsibilities

• Set weekly schedules for all shipping and driving staff.
• Promote, hire, fire, and discipline shipping and driving staff as needed.
• Follow and train staff on GMP's and SOP's.
• Organize logistics of all weekly orders and delegate daily picking tasks.
• Organize daily routes and pickups for each driver.
• Oversee daily and weekly cleaning of loading docks, cool room, and equipment.
• Coordinate maintenance on lift equipment and trucks; arrange repairs.
• Maintain cost-efficient budgets for shipping and distribution.
