Nickels Custom Cabinets Ltd. in Richmond, BC is seeking a Logistics Coordinator to manage warehouse distribution and transportation logistics on site. You will ensure timely delivery, optimal inventory levels, and enhance operational efficiency in a fast-paced environment.

The role emphasizes collaboration with 3PLs, accurate ERP record-keeping (AS400), and ongoing process improvements to support exceptional order fulfillment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in warehouse distribution, shipping & receiving, or materials management.
• Strong knowledge of ERP systems (e.g., AS400), WMS, TMS, and CMMS platforms.
• Demonstrated data analysis skills with the ability to interpret information and provide insights.
• Familiarity with procurement processes, sourcing strategies, pricing models, and demand planning techniques.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate warehouse distribution activities, including shipping & receiving, order picking, and materials management to meet customer demands efficiently.
• Manage transportation logistics using TMS and WMS to optimize routes, reduce costs, and improve delivery times.
• Use data analysis to monitor supply chain metrics, identify bottlenecks, and drive improvements.
• Collaborate with 3PL and carriers to coordinate shipments and resolve issues promptly.
• Maintain accurate records in ERP systems and ensure compliance with shipping standards.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives by analyzing processes and proposing efficiency gains.
