Live More is a youth-led nonprofit dedicated to empowering Black youth, especially immigrants, through creative expression, mental health support, and community building. We host workshops, art-based therapy events, peer groups, and other meaningful spaces that center healing, culture, and connection. Job Overview

As our Logistics & Event Support Lead, you’ll be the powerhouse behind the smooth running of our events and projects, both online and offline. From booking venues to making sure our mics are working and snacks are ready, you’ll help bring our creative, healing-focused spaces to life. Your eye for detail and love for organization will directly support youth mental health and community empowerment.

What You’ll Do (Responsibilities) :

  • Source, book, and manage venues
  • Handle transportation of staff & equipment
  • Ensure equipment like mics, lights, speakers and projectors are functioning
  • Oversee printing of posters, banners, cards etc.
  • Find and set up virtual platforms for online talks, podcasts, etc.
  • Be the go-to for smooth, impactful event experiences

Who You Are :

  • Organized and dependable
  • Excellent communication skills and computer literate
  • Proficient in the English language, verbal & written
  • Non-judgmental and acceptance of the various values and beliefs of others
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Physically able to assist with event setup / take-down
  • Comfortable with both online tools and in-person tasks
  • Creative problem solver who loves getting things done
  • Passionate about youth mental health and community work

Requirements

  • Have residency in Canada (e.g., Canadian citizenship, PR, work permit, work visa, etc.)
  • Driver's (G) License (mandatory)
  • Access to a vehicle is an asset
  • Reliable in fulfilling work commitments
  • Access to laptop / smartphone & reliable internet connectivity
  • Able to comply with Livemore policies and procedures and our Code of Ethics
  • Maintain confidentiality regarding your work.
  • Sign and comply with our Volunteer Work Agreement.
  • Participate in ongoing training and work-related development opportunities.
