The Lung Health Foundation is committed to making this future a reality. And this new future starts now.
The Lung Health Foundation’s mission is to improve the lung health of Canadians, and we will achieve this through:

  • Represent the Lung Health Foundation as a clinical spokesperson in media engagements, including responding to time-sensitive media requests that may arise approximately 3–5 times per year.
  • Collaborate with leadership and other stakeholders to support the organization's mission.
  • Apply an equity, diversity, inclusion, and anti-racism (EDI-AR) lens to all aspects of lung health work.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
  • Medical degree (MD) with a valid, unrestricted medical license in Canada.
  • Extensive knowledge of lung health, respiratory medicine, and public health issues.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience in healthcare settings.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
WHY VOLUNTEER WITH US?
  • Make a meaningful impact in public health and lung care.
  • Collaborate with a passionate team of healthcare and community leaders.
  • Gain exposure through advocacy and media opportunities.
