TRICAN is SEEKING a Logistics Driver for Red Deer, AB. The role focuses on safe operation of equipment during shifts and requires strong communication and leadership to coordinate with the crew.

Responsibilities include pre/post trip inspections, operating large trucks on outdoor terrain, and maintaining paperwork. A Class 1 license, safety awareness, and physical fitness are essential.

LOGISTICS DRIVER - RED DEER (RDC)

The Logistics Driver is responsible for the safe operation of equipment during their shift.

Responsibilities:

• Ensurethat Trican’s core value, “We won’t put anyone in harm’s way” is thepriority in all activities
• Operatevarious large duty trucks over outdoor terrain and through all weatherconditions
• Attendpre-job safety meeting on location
• Performpre/post trip inspections and accurately fill out all required forms
• Performrig-in/out of all equipment for travel
• Operateall equipment in a safe and responsible manner
• Establishand maintain effective communication with colleagues
• Consultwith supervisor and crew regarding any operational deficiencies
• Assistin all required equipment maintenance
• Ensureall required paperwork is completed in a timely manner

Experience & Skills:

• ValidClass 1 Driver's licence is required
• Highschool diploma is an asset
• Safedriving skills; driver’s abstract will be requested
• Physicallyfit - heavy lifting required
• Excellentcommunication skills, both written and verbal
• Strongleadership and managerial skills
• Skilledin problem-solving techniques
