Job summary

Trican Well Service Ltd. in Red Deer is seeking a Cement Operator to safely operate equipment during shifts and support our field teams.

You will drive truck-mounted pumping and bulk hauling equipment, perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections, keep records up to date, and assist with rig-up and rig-out of equipment while adhering to safety policies.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 1 driver's licence required.
• High school diploma is an asset.
• Safe driving skills; driver’s abstract will be requested.
• Physically fit – heavy lifting required.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Strong leadership and managerial skills.
• Skilled in problem-solving techniques.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safe operation of equipment during shift.
• Drive truck-mounted pumping and bulk hauling equipment between locations safely under supervision.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections by accurately completing driver log forms while following procedures.
• Keep unit binder up to date including permits, regulatory paperwork, inspections, and maintenance documentation.
• Rig-up treating iron, manifolds and recording equipment.
• Rig-out of all equipment for travel and move to following site.
• Perform maintenance on pumping units and auxiliary equipment.

CEMENTOPERATOR – RED DEER (RDC)

The Cement Operator is responsible for the safeoperation of equipment during their shift.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure thatTrican's core value, "Safe equipment and operations" is thepriority in all activities
• Ensure adherenceto Workplace Safety, Environmental, National Safety Code, Trican WellService Ltd, government, as well as client policies and regulations
• Drive truckmounted pumping and bulk hauling equipment between locations safely andefficiently while under qualified supervision
• Perform pre-tripand post-trip inspections by accurately completing corresponding driverlog forms while remaining in accordance with Trican inspection procedures
• Keep unit bindersup to date including all permits, government regulatory paperwork, ironinspections, and maintenance documentation
• Rig-up treatingiron, manifolds and recording equipment
• Rig-out of allequipment for travel and conduct movement to following site
• Performmaintenance operations to pumping units and auxiliary equipment

Experience& Skills:
