Job summary

TRICAN, Canada’s largest well service company, invites you to explore the Fracturing Operator role in Grande Prairie. Responsible for safe equipment operation during shifts, you’ll participate in pre-job safety meetings and ensure compliance with company and regulatory standards.

Ideal candidates have a Class 1/3 licence, possible pressure pumping experience, and strong communication skills. This on-site position emphasizes safety, teamwork, and reliability in varying weather and terrain.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 1 or Class 3 driver’s licence required.
• Pressure pumping experience preferred.
• High school diploma is an asset.
• Safe driving skills; driver’s abstract may be requested.
• Physically demanding with heavy lifting.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment safely during shift hours.
• Attend pre-job safety meetings on location.
• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections and fill out forms accurately.
• Rig in and rig out of equipment for travel.
• Operate all equipment in a safe and responsible manner.
• Establish and maintain effective communication with colleagues.
• Consult with supervisor and crew regarding any operational deficiencies.
• Assist in required equipment maintenance.
• Ensure job quality, safety requirements and standard procedures meet company and regulatory standards.

FRACTURING OPERATOR - GRANDE PRAIRIE(GPC)

The Fracturing Operator is responsible for the safe operation ofequipment during the hours of their shift.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure thatTrican’s core value, “We won’t put anyone in harm’s way” is the priorityin all activities
• Operate variouslarge duty trucks over outdoor terrain and through all weather conditions
• Attend pre-jobsafety meeting on location
• Perform pre andpost trip inspections and accurately fill out all required forms
• Perform rig-in andrig out of all equipment for travel
• Operate allequipment in a safe and responsible manner
• Establish andmaintain effective communication with colleagues
• Consult withsupervisor and crew regarding any operational deficiencies

Experience & Skills:
