Qualifications

• College degree or relevant work experience in supply chain/administration.

Responsibilities

• Develop the company’s inventory management strategy to control bin level accuracy.
• Manage and control inventory consolidation and monthly inventory taking for all clients.
• Perform perpetual inventory stock counting and accuracy checks.
• Coordinate Scheduled Cycle Counting and report variances to management.
• Ensure integrity and accuracy of the WMS and related inventory documentation.
• Provide monthly inventory performance reporting and communicate daily activity with customers.
• Identify and drive process improvements to reduce inventory issues.

Scope of the Role

Reporting tothe Warehouse Supervisor, the incumbent of the role willbe responsible forcoordinate all inventory control related activities by executing inventory control measures to ensure the company minimizes stock variance and maximizes stock system and paperwork accuracy. Furthermore, the Inventory Control Coordinator carries responsibilities for working with all operations on all shifts to ensure necessary functions are carried out correctly andin a timely manner.

Role Tasks and Responsibilities

• Develop the company’s inventory management strategy with the aim of controlling bin level accuracy.
• Manage and control inventory consolidation on a regular basis.
• Manage and control monthly inventory taking for all clients.
• Handle and control perpetual inventory stock counting / inventory accuracy checks.
• Manage, control and report Scheduled Cycle Counting.
• Monitor all Inbound receipts and managed appropriately.
• Provide management monthly reporting on inventory performance for all clients.
• Communicate daily activity with customers.
• Perform daily reconciliation of WMS to client inventory and report variances.
• Implement improvement processes and systems to reduce inventory related issues.
• Write andmaintainaccuratewritten procedures for all main inventory control processes and functions.
• Ensure integrity and accuracy of the warehouse management system.
• Identify &facilitateprocess improvement projects to drive efficiency.
• Other tasks as assigned.

Role Requirements

Experience

• Minimum ofthree(3)years experience, preferablyin the 3PL, warehousing and distribution sector
• Relevant professional qualification and/or suitable background experience in inventory management, an asset .
• Experience with ERP WMS Systems, Korber, SAP, Oracle
• Experience with WMS implementation and enhancement processes
• ExperiencewithLEAN principles, Kaizen continuous improvement or similar production tools within ahigh-volumeenvironment, an asset.

Education

• College degree orrelevant work experience(supply chainoradministrationpreferred)

Other

• Detailed understanding of MRP and inventory controlmanagement systems and WMS, Korber, Oracle, SAP
• Understanding of Logistics environment, distribution & transportation.
• Strong communication in English and French.
