YOUR ROLE

Provide general clerical support to assigned departments. Model and act in accordance with our guiding principles and core values. The Logistics Coordinator is also responsible for maintaining the inventory database, data entry, and providing scheduled and ad hoc reports to management and the customer.

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?

  • Enter and track data related to the shipment and receiving of customer inventory
  • Create reports (daily and weekly) for customers and employees
  • Identify and resolve problems, articulating the problem and outcome to management
  • Understand, influence, and oversee the achievement of Operational KPIs for your team
  • Proactively coordinate actions to ensure operations are efficient and meet requirements
  • Ensure compliance with SOPs
  • Troubleshoot scanner issues
  • Provide coaching and motivation to team members and support their jobs as required
  • Work on all aspects of the Reverse Logistics portion of the business. Direct communication with the customer
  • Assist in providing on-the-job training as directed by management
  • Record keeping, log book updates, and completing computer entries and checklists
  • Assist in resolving inventory discrepancies
  • Ensure safety and emergency awareness and requirements are completed
  • Participate in start-up activities with cross-functional teams
  • Support Lean practices, teamwork, and quality initiatives
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures
  • Complete tasks following defined processes and procedures
  • Be proactive and coordinate actions to ensure operational efficiency
  • Maintain filing systems, audit records, respond to requests, and manage office supplies
  • Respond to calls, scan documents, review invoices, and prepare correspondence
  • Perform other duties as assigned

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

Education and Experience:

  • Ability to perform basic math and use units of measurement
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, internet, and job-specific software
  • Accurate typing and data entry skills
  • Effective communication skills with diverse backgrounds
  • Prompt and professional customer interaction
  • Basic reading, writing, and problem-solving skills
  • Reliability and punctuality
  • Fluent in English
  • Strong analytical, attention to detail, and communication skills
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, noisy environment

Experience and Qualifications:

  • At least 1+ years’ management experience in logistics, warehouse, or distribution
  • Knowledge of RFID scanning systems
  • College Diploma, preferably in logistics or transportation
  • Leadership ability to manage diverse teams
  • Excellent interpersonal, problem-solving, and organizational skills
  • Ability to multi-task and manage time effectively
  • Willing to work afternoons or nights if required
  • Travel up to 10% locally and to the US; legal work status in Canada required
