Silver Hills Bakery in Mission, BC is seeking a Logistics Coordinator to support the day-to-day flow of goods, schedule shipments, track orders, coordinate with carriers and warehouse teams, and resolve issues before they become delays. You must be able to work well in a fast-paced environment, resolving issues and providing excellent customer service to both internal and external stakeholders.

• 1–2 years of experience in transportation, logistics and/or related background preferred.
• Experience in a food manufacturing facility is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Schedule inbound and outbound shipments with carriers, suppliers, and customers.
• Track shipments in transit and communicate delays or changes to stakeholders.
• Prepare and review shipping documentation.
• Coordinate load scheduling and dock appointments with internal teams.
• Support continuous improvement within the Logistics team.
• Resolve shipping discrepancies, damages, and claims with carriers and customers.
• Other duties as assigned.

EXPERIENCE

You have at least 1-2 years of work experience in transportation, logistics and/or relevant background (preferred)

• Experience working in a food manufacturing facility

• Track shipments in transit and proactively communicate delays, exceptions, or changes to stakeholders
• Prepare and review shipping documentation
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders on load scheduling, dock appointments, etc.
• Support continuous improvement efforts within the Logistics team
• Resolve shipping discrepancies, damages, and claims with carriers and customers
• Other duties as assigned

• You are willing to work flexible shifts to cover for vacations, sick days or leave if required
