With safety, efficiency, and customer service as priorities, the Logistics Coordinator is accountable for the shipping of all orders. They analyze and develop logistics plans that maximize customer satisfaction and minimize costs. The role is vital in ensuring an exceptional customer experience throughout order processing and resolving any issues promptly.

Responsibilities
  1. Coordinate transportation of customer orders with the Logistics Manager, adhering to policies and regulations.
  2. Utilize in-house software to complete daily logistics tasks.
  3. Meet on-time shipping objectives while maintaining quality standards, complying with Health and Safety, ISO 9001-2015, Lean Manufacturing, and other policies.
  4. Optimize storage space and shipment processes.
  5. Ensure excellent customer service during order processing, including load preparation and warehouse traffic management.
  6. Report and resolve order flow, shipping delays, and quality issues in collaboration with the Logistics Manager.
  7. Work with other departments to ensure timely order completion and shipment.
  8. Consolidate shipments geographically to reduce costs.
  9. Arrange daily transportation for materials.
  10. Ensure all pickup orders are complete and communicated to customers.
  11. Manage courier and carrier orders, ensuring timely and cost-effective shipping.
  12. Coordinate with Purchasing to maintain supplies and packaging materials.
  13. Maintain respectful and effective working relationships within and outside the department.
  14. Adhere to all health and safety policies.
  15. Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 6 months to 1 year experience in logistics, shipping, receiving, or a related administrative role.
  • Experience with ERP, SAP, or WMS systems is a plus.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and Office.
  • Strong time management, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in teams.
