Job summary

Traffic Tech is looking for a mid-level Logistics Coordinator to ensure efficient cross-border freight movement across North America. Based in our Vancouver office, you will support the operations team, coordinate shipments, and communicate with clients and carriers to meet schedules.

The role requires 2+ years in logistics, knowledge of US/Canada/Mexico cross-border transport, and bilingual English-Spanish.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of logistics/transportation experience.
• Experience with cross-border North America shipments.
• Knowledge of shipping documentation and invoicing.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain strong vendor relationships.
• Negotiate with shippers and carriers.
• Track shipments and monitor pickups and deliveries.
• Prepare shipping documentation.
• Communicate with clients and carriers.
• Perform minor accounting and data entry.

Your Part in It

Working out of our Vancouver office in British Columbia, we are looking for our next mid-level Logistics Coordinator. You will be responsible for making sure the movement of freight across North America, or even across the globe, is coordinated and executed successfully according to our customers’ needs. Your work will support our rapidly growing Operations team and you will communicate thoroughly with other team members and Traffic Tech personnel. This position is a great opportunity to further your career within the extensive logistics’ field.

LOGISTICS COORDINATOR

What the Job Entails

• Creating and maintaining Strong Vendor Relationships
• Negotiating with Shippers and Carriers
• Shipment tracking – monitor pickup and delivery
• Preparing required shipping documentation
• Effective and professional communication with clients and carriers
• Minor Accounting Functions and data entry

What We Are Looking For

• Must have 2+ years of previous logistics/transportation experience, in a 3PL environment preferred
• Must have Knowledge of Cross-border US/Mexico/Canada Transportation, OTR truckload, including dry van, flatbed, reefer, etc.
• High School Diploma
• Customer service experience
• Problem resolution skills, detail-oriented, high level of multi-tasking skills are a must
• Possess professional phone mannerisms
• Outgoing personality; high energy; flexible
• Great attitude and desire to work hard while having fun
• Must be bilingual in English & Spanish

This is a full-time permanent position from Monday to Friday
