Job summary

Traffic Tech Inc. in Vancouver, BC is seeking a mid-level Logistics Coordinator to ensure freight movements across North America are coordinated and executed to meet client needs.

You will support our growing Operations team and liaise with carriers and customers daily. Key duties include building strong vendor relationships, negotiating with shippers and carriers, tracking shipments, preparing shipping docs, and handling minor accounting/data entry tasks.

Qualifications

• Requires 2+ years in logistics/transportation in a 3PL environment preferred.
• Knowledge of Cross-border US/Mexico/Canada transportation, OTR truckload incl. dry van, flatbed, reefer.

Responsibilities

• Creating and maintaining strong vendor relationships.
• Negotiating with shippers and carriers.
• Shipment tracking - monitor pickup and delivery.
• Preparing required shipping documentation.

Working out of our Vancouver office in British Columbia, we are looking for our next mid-level Logistics Coordinator. You will be responsible for making sure the movement of freight across North America, or even across the globe, is coordinated and executed successfully according to our customers’ needs.

Your work will support our rapidly growing Operations team and you will communicate thoroughly with other team members and Traffic Tech personnel. This position is a great opportunity to further your career within the extensive logistics’ field.

LOGISTICS COORDINATOR

What the Job Entails:

• Creating and maintaining Strong Vendor Relationships
• Negotiating with Shippers and Carriers

What We Are Looking For:

• Must have 2+ years of previous logistics/transportation experience, in a 3PL environment preferred
• Must have Knowledge of Cross-border US/Mexico/Canada Transportation, OTR truckload, including dry van, flatbed, reefer, etc.
• High School Diploma
• Customer service experience
• Problem resolution skills, detail-oriented, high level of multi-tasking skills are a must
• Possess professional phone mannerisms
• Outgoing personality; high energy; flexible
• Great attitude and desire to work hard while having fun
• Must be bilingual in English & Spanish

This is a full-time permanent position from Monday to Friday
