Your RoleWe are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Logistics Administrator to join our team. Your responsibilities will include managing sales and freight documentation, maintaining accurate cost tracking, and supporting logistics and finance teams with timely reporting. This role is vital for ensuring smooth operations, compliance, and effective communication across departments.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities- Order entry using ERP system (Agrosoft)
- Costing accrual entry and management related to bulk vessel orders
- Processing freight invoices for shipments via bulk vessels, trucks, and rail
- Collaborating with accounts payable to ensure timely bulk vessel payments
- Maintaining freight accruals and performing monthly assessments
- Working with the merchandising department to ensure accurate invoicing of bulk cargo
- Managing documentation for audit purposes
- Contract entry to support GMP+ compliance
- Tracking freight invoices for the transportation team
- Entering data into the Canadian Export Reporting System (CERS) portal (B13 entries)
- Performing other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications- Post-secondary education in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field
- Experience with logistics coordination, freight, or supply chain support is preferred
- Familiarity with ERP systems like Agrosoft is an asset
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Comfort working with numbers and verifying financial data
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
