Job summary

Manitoulin Transport is seeking a reliable receptionist to handle calls, determine the nature of inquiries, and direct them to the right team. This role supports dock personnel and dispatchers to maximize efficiency.

You will assist with OS&D tasks, trace freight, look up PODs and B/Ls, and participate in related projects. Strong communication, organization, and the ability to work under pressure are essential.

Responsibilities

• Receive calls and determine nature of business, directing accordingly.
• Perform OS&D duties by identifying over, short and astray freight and rectifying issues.
• Trace freight by searching PODs and B/Ls and tracking delivery status.
• Assist with related projects as required.
• Collaborate with dock foremen and Dispatcher to maximize efficiency.
