Job summary

Clean Harbors in Sudbury, ON is seeking experienced DZ/AZ Operators to join the team. You will drive and operate vacuum, high-pressure, combo, and steamer units, ensuring safety and compliance in all tasks. Local applicants within 1 hour of Sudbury will be considered.

Responsibilities include staging equipment, rigging, completing inspections, and performing shop duties as needed. Prior industrial or construction experience and a DZ license are required for the role.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Class DZ Driver's license and be able to operate a manual transmission.
• Experience operating vacuum, combo or high-pressure trucks is required.
• Industrial and/or construction experience is preferred.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision in a safety-focused environment.
• Based in Sudbury, Ontario with local availability within 1 hour preferred.

Responsibilities

• Drive, operate and maintain vacuum units and related equipment.
• Assist with staging and rigging equipment as needed.
• Complete pre- and post-trip inspections and related paperwork.
• Perform general shop duties and labor tasks as required.
• Work in confined spaces with appropriate safety gear.

Our Sudbury, ON location is currently looking for experienced Class DZ/AZ Operators to join the team.

The successful candidates will be responsible for driving and operating industrial service equipment including but not limited to: vacuum, high pressure, combo, steamer units.

Please note: These positions are based out of Sudbury ON - local applicants within a 1 hour range of the city will be considered.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ensure that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times;
• Drive, operate and maintain vacuum units;
• Assist with staging the equipment;
• Rig the equipment in and out;
• Complete pre- and post- trip inspections, field level risk assessments and other related paperwork;
• Perform general shop duties and laborer tasks as required;
• Work in confined spaces and wear a Supplied Breathing Air Apparatus.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum Class DZ Drivers License required;
• Must be able to operate a Manual transmission (Required)
• Previous industrial and/or construction based experience required.
• Previous vacuum, combo or high pressure truck operating experience required;
• Ability to work with minimal supervision in a team and safety focused environment;
