Job summary

Clean Harbors in Windsor, ON seeks experienced Class DZ Operators to drive and operate industrial service equipment including vacuum, high pressure and combo units. You will ensure safety, perform inspections, and support staging and rigging tasks.

Qualifications

• Minimum Class DZ license required.
• Must be able to operate a manual transmission.
• Previous industrial or construction experience required.
• Experience operating vacuum, combo or high-pressure trucks preferred.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision in a safety-focused environment.

Responsibilities

• Drive, operate and maintain vacuum units and related equipment.
• Assist with staging and rigging of equipment.
• Complete pre- and post-trip inspections and related paperwork.
• Perform general shop duties as required.
• Work in confined spaces with supplied breathing apparatus.

Job description

Our Windsor, ON location is currently looking for experienced Class DZ Operators to join the team. The successful candidates will be responsible for driving and operating industrial service equipment including but not limited to: vacuum, high pressure, combo, steamer units.

Responsibilities

• Ensure that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times;
• Drive, operate and maintain vacuum units;
• Assist with staging the equipment;
• Rig the equipment in and out;
• Complete pre- and post- trip inspections, field level risk assessments and other related paperwork;
• Perform general shop duties and laborer tasks as required;
• Work in confined spaces and wear a Supplied Breathing Air Apparatus.

Qualifications

• Minimum Class DZ Drivers License required;
• Must be able to operate a Manual transmission (Required)
• Previous industrial and/or construction based experience required.
• Previous vacuum, combo or high pressure truck operating experience required;
• Ability to work with minimal supervision in a team and safety focused environment;
