Job summary

Clean Harbors in Corunna, ON is seeking a local Class AZ Driver to join their safety-conscious team. The successful candidate will operate various units to perform hazardous and non-hazardous waste pickups at client sites, with unionized employment following the applicable CBA.

Responsibilities include safe driving, loading/unloading, pre/post-trip inspections, proper placarding, and risk assessments. Eligible candidates have a Class AZ license, clean record, and TDG familiarity.

Qualifications

• Valid Class AZ Commercial Driver's License with a clean driving record.
• Must be able to maintain a clean-shaven face for respirator fit.
• FAST Card preferred; at minimum, a valid passport with travel restrictions acceptable.
• Experience with Hazardous Waste transportation and TDG regulations is highly preferred.
• Previous experience operating tankers and/or roll-off trucks required.
• Ability to safely operate vehicles with up to an 18-speed manual transmission.

• Guarantee proper loading and unloading of hazardous/non-hazardous waste.
• Perform pre-and-post-trip inspections and ensure equipment is mechanically sound.
• Ensure proper placarding of vehicles to meet requirements and regulations.
• Complete field level risk assessments and related paperwork.
• Work as part of a team with customers, co-workers & supervisors.

Clean Harbors in Corunna, ON is seeking a local Class AZ Driver to join their safety conscious team! The successful candidate will hold a Class AZ License and be responsible for operating a variety of units (Roll off, Luggers, Tankers, Vans primarily) to perform hazardous and non-hazardous waste pickups at various client sites. This is a unionized position and will follow the applicable CBA.

• Previous experience operating tankers and/or roll-off trucks is required.
• Ability to safely operate vehicles equipped with up to an 18-speed manual transmission.
• Capable of working outdoors in all weather conditions for extended periods.
