Job summary

Combined Metal Industries in Vaughan, Ontario, is hiring a Loader Operator at our Keele site to process recycled metals and prepare shipments. You will learn to operate heavy equipment, sort material, and load material into balers while maintaining a clean, safe yard.

This permanent, full-time role offers continental shifts (7:00am–7:00pm and 7:00pm–7:00am), a pay rate of CAD 21–25 per hour, and benefits. We value teamwork, safety, and opportunities to grow within a growing metal recycling

CMI sources and processes recycled ferrous and non-ferrous metals across North America and ensure they do not end up in a landfill or go to waste. Our recycling stream ensures that all the ferrous and non-ferrous metals that enter our yards will create something new again!

We are growing and need a Loader Operators to join our team at our Keele site. You will be trained to operator various pieces of equipment, process and prepare recycled metals for shipment to our customers who will use as raw material in the production of new goods. • Safely operate heavy equipment to compact, process, sort and move material


• Load material into baler, operate baler controls


• Prepare and load material in containers, trucks and rail cars for shipments


• General housekeeping of yard

We think it would be awesome if you have:

• Heavy Equipment Operator Certification is an asset


• Previous experience operating a front end loader


• Previous experience with a baler is an asset


• Strong English communication skills
