Job summary

Oak View Group (OVG) is Moose Jaw’s Temple Gardens Centre, a premier multi-purpose venue offering a broad mix of sports, entertainment and conferences. The Sales & Marketing Manager leads the facility’s sales, marketing, digital content, promotions, and sponsorship programs to drive attendance, revenue, and market presence.

The role oversees campaigns, media relationships, and advertising inventories while partnering with the Director of Business Operations to set goals and budgets.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of sales/marketing experience in arenas, convention centers, or similar venues.
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university preferred; equivalent work experience will be considered.
• Strong management, motivational, and organizational skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency with Canva, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and/or similar design tools.
• Experience with video editing and production software (Premiere Pro, CapCut, Final Cut Pro) and social media management.
• Willingness to work hours to meet sales goals (nights, weekends, holidays).
• Familiarity with email marketing platforms (Mailchimp, Constant Contact) or similar.
• Ability to analyze website/campaign performance with analytics tools (Google Analytics).
• Knowledge of marketing, advertising/sponsorship program development; music market experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement marketing plans to increase awareness, attendance, facility usage, and revenue.
• Coordinate advertising programs across traditional, digital, social, website, and promotional campaigns.
• Maintain website and social media with current, on-brand content.
• Create marketing content including graphics, photos, video, and promotional materials.
• Plan marketing calendars and coordinate campaigns, promotions, and digital content.
• Develop advertising, sponsorship, and promotional inventory for the venue and events.
• Negotiate terms, prepare proposals and sponsorship packages.
• Build relationships with advertisers, sponsors, promoters, and community partners.
• Assist in setting goals and budgets with the Director of Business Operations.
• Track campaign performance and report on revenue, attendance, and engagement.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to deliver benefits.
