Job summary

Greenwin is seeking a hands-on, service-driven Superintendent to oversee the day-to-day operations of a residential community in Oakville, Ontario. As a live-in team member, you will be the primary contact for residents and ensure the property's upkeep and safety.

Salary Range: $35,000–$37,000 plus an apartment as a taxable benefit. Responsibilities include coordinating maintenance, handling inquiries, showing suites, processing applications, and supporting leasing.

Qualifications

• Diploma or equivalent. Additional technical certifications (plumbing, electrical work, HVAC, or building maintenance) are highly desirable.
• 2 to 5 years in building maintenance, property management, or a related field.
• Knowledge of resident rights, building codes, and environmental regulations.
• Familiarity with fire safety plans and emergency procedures.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Self-starter who can switch gears and manage multiple deadlines.
• A valid driver’s license may be required.

• Support leasing by handling inquiries, showing suites, processing applications, and coordinating move-ins/outs.
• Coordinate building maintenance, repairs, and inspections; perform light maintenance (plumbing, electrical, janitorial).
• Liaise with contractors, manage work orders, and ensure all building systems are running smoothly.
• Maintain safety protocols, conduct routine inspections, and support seasonal maintenance (e.g., snow removal, gardening).
• Respond to after-hours emergencies as needed.

• A valid driver’s license may be required, especially if driving is necessary to carry out maintenance or other duties related to building operations at assigned properties
