Job summary

Greenwin Corp. seeks a hands-on, live-in Superintendent to oversee day-to-day operations of our residential community in Toronto. You will be the primary resident contact, ensure upkeep, safety, and a welcoming environment.

Salary CAD 31,000–32,000 per year plus an apartment as a taxable benefit. You will support leasing, coordinate move-ins/outs, supervise maintenance, liaise with contractors, and uphold building codes and safety plans.

Qualifications

• Diploma or equivalent; additional technical certifications are highly desirable.
• 2–5 years in building maintenance or property management.
• Knowledge of resident rights, building codes, and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Be the primary contact for residents, handling inquiries and emergencies professionally.
• Support leasing by handling inquiries, showing suites, processing applications, and coordinating move-ins/outs.
• Coordinate maintenance, repairs, and inspections; perform light maintenance (plumbing, electrical, janitorial).
• Liaise with contractors, manage work orders, and ensure building systems run smoothly.
• Maintain safety protocols and seasonal maintenance (snow removal, gardening).
• Respond to after-hours emergencies as needed.

We are seeking a hands-on, service-driven Superintendent to oversee the day-to-day operations of our residential community. As a live-in team member, you will be the primary point of contact for residents, ensure the integrity and upkeep of the property, and maintain a safe, welcoming environment. What you’ll get to do:

• Act as the primary contact for residents—addressing inquiries, concerns, and emergencies professionally.
• Support leasing by handling inquiries, showing suites, processing applications, and coordinating move-ins/outs.
• Coordinate building maintenance, repairs, and inspections; perform light maintenance (plumbing, electrical, janitorial).
• Liaise with contractors, manage work orders, and ensure all building systems are running smoothly.
• Maintain safety protocols, conduct routine inspections, and support seasonal maintenance (e.g., snow removal, gardening).

Respond to after-hours emergencies as needed.

Who you are:

• Diploma or equivalent. Additional technical certifications (plumbing, electrical work. HVAC, or building maintenance) are highly desirable.
• 2 to 5 years in building maintenance, property management, or a related field
• Knowledge of resident rights, building codes, and environmental regulations
• Familiarity with fire safety plans and emergency procedures
• Strong attention to detail to ensure all maintenance tasks and inspections are done thoroughly to prevent future issues
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Self-starter who is comfortable "switching gears" and able to switch focus on a whim
• Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects and deadlines
• A valid driver’s license may be required, especially if driving is necessary to carry out maintenance or other duties related to building operations at assigned properties
