Job summary

Colonial Group is seeking a hands-on onsite team member in the Victoria area to manage day-to-day property operations. You will live on site with a 60% rental discount, handle rent collection, lease showings, and coordinate maintenance and inspections for several suites.

The role requires a valid Class 5 license, reliable transportation, and a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends. Strong customer service and comfort with web-based programs are essential.

Qualifications

• 2 years of customer service experience required.
• Post-secondary education in related field is an asset.
• Proficiency with web-based programs and computers.

Responsibilities

• Love and interact with people and be hands-on with cleaning and maintenance tasks at the site.
• Flexible schedule and be available evenings and weekends.
• Collect rent and follow up on defaults.
• Inspect vacant and upcoming suites.
• Lease and show suites.
• Conduct annual suite inspections.
• Prepare and deliver bank deposits.
• Coordinate contractors to schedule and complete work.
• Assist with snow removal, cleaning and touch-up painting as required.
• Complete other tasks as assigned.

• Aurora (Vic West area), or
• The Vue (Langford area)

Main Requirements:

• Must live on site (60% rental discount)
• Valid Class 5 driver's license and own vehicle required

Responsibilities:

• Applicant must love people, be versatile, hands-on with cleaning and maintenance tasks and take ownership of the site
• Successful applicants must have a flexible schedule and be available to work evenings and weekends
• Collect rent and follow up on defaults
• Inspections of vacant and upcoming suites
• Lease and show suites
• Annual suite inspections
• Prepare and deliver bank deposits
• Ensure contractors arrive as per scheduled timelines and complete their work per conditions of the contract
• Assist with snow removal, cleaning, and touch-up painting as required
• Complete other tasks as assigned

Experience and Educational Requirements:

• 2 years customer service experience required
• Post-Secondary education in related field is an asset

Technical Requirements:

• Computer experience is required with web based programs preferred
• Ability to learn and adapt quickly to changing systems and new technology
• Familiarity with technology is an asset

Non-Technical Requirements:

• Strong commitment to providing excellent customer service
• Ability to take responsibility for all actions and decisions and to follow through until a resolution is obtained
• Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making capabilities
• Demonstrates a positive attitude, enthusiasm and assertiveness
• Ability to spend up to eight hours walking, standing, climbing stairs, lifting
