Job summary

Colonial Group is seeking a Resident Manager to live at the Peterborough property. The role requires on-site residence, four weekdays per week, every second weekend, and on-call some evenings. Compensation includes an apartment suite and benefits with performance bonuses.

Responsibilities span guest relations, daily operations, and light maintenance. Candidates should have strong customer service and communication skills, plus ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service skills.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Basic computer and keyboarding skills.
• Ability to perform general cleaning duties and minor maintenance repairs.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Greet and interact with residents in a friendly and professional manner.
• Promote a welcoming atmosphere.
• Demonstrate excellent customer service and a can-do attitude.
• Attend to resident concerns and service requests within 24 hours.
• Follow up with residents to ensure high satisfaction.
• Handle office administrative tasks such as processing applications and managing lease renewals.
• Organize, promote and execute resident events (holiday parties and summer barbecues).
• Maintain cleanliness of common areas including foyers, amenity rooms, garage, locker rooms, patios, rooftops.
• Perform thorough cleaning of vacant units, including appliances, floors, walls, etc.
• Assist residents with maintenance requests and daily walkthroughs.
• Report safety hazards to supervisor and assist HVAC and basic maintenance.
