Job summary

CLV Group is seeking a Live-In Maintenance Technician for a community in Centertown Ottawa. You will handle a range of residential maintenance tasks, from routine upkeep to repairs, while delivering excellent resident service and safe, well-maintained living spaces.

Ideal candidates will have strong hands-on maintenance skills, basic HVAC/plumbing/electrical capabilities, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. The role includes housing support and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Working knowledge and professional experience in a wide variety of residential maintenance and light renovation tasks.
• General understanding of residential building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical and heating systems.
• Experience in performing basic appliance and fixture repairs is considered a strong asset.
• Must be able to work in a team environment as well as independently.

Responsibilities

• Responding to routine and urgent maintenance requests from residents in a timely and professional manner.
• Performing general maintenance, repairs, and adjustments to building systems, suites, and common areas.
• Support the ongoing upkeep and safe operation of property amenities, fixtures, and equipment.
• Conduct regular inspections to identify maintenance needs and repairs.
• Assist with seasonal property operations, including snow removal.
• Ensure work areas are kept clean and safe.
• Work collaboratively with site staff, management, and external vendors as required.
• Adhere to all workplace health & safety policies and report safety hazards to management.
