Job summary

CLV Group is seeking a Live-In Maintenance Technician for a 300-unit high-rise at 100 Main Street, Hamilton. The role focuses on maintaining safety, functionality, and resident satisfaction while living on-site in a downtown community.

You will perform repairs, inspections and upkeep across HVAC, plumbing, electrical and common areas, with opportunities to contribute to seasonal operations and vendor coordination. Strong customer service and reliability are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in residential maintenance and light renovations.
• General understanding of building systems: HVAC, plumbing, electrical and heating.
• Basic appliance and fixture repair skills are a strong asset.
• Able to work in a team or independently.

Responsibilities

• Respond to routine and urgent maintenance requests from residents promptly.
• Perform general maintenance, repairs and adjustments to building systems and common areas.
• Support ongoing upkeep and safe operation of property amenities and equipment.
• Conduct regular inspections to identify needs and repairs.
• Assist with seasonal operations including snow removal.
• Keep work areas clean and safe.
• Collaborate with site staff, management and external vendors as required.
• Adhere to health & safety policies and report hazards.
