Realstar is seeking a Cleaner to live and work at one of our properties in Cornwall, ON. This on-site role requires you to live on-site and work four weekdays each week, every second weekend, and on-call some evenings.

Key duties include cleaning lobbies, elevators, stairwells, vacant suites, and exterior areas, plus reporting hazards to the Resident Manager. We offer base pay around CAD 43,000 with a signing bonus, benefits, bonuses, training, and other employee perks.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to lift and push heavy objects.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken.
• Must be able to work on-site in Cornwall, ON.

Responsibilities

• Clean common areas including lobbies, elevators, stairwells.
• Thoroughly clean vacant suites and amenities.
• Exterior cleaning and maintenance of garages and patios.
• Report hazards or deficiencies to the Resident Manager.
• Work flexible schedule, including weekends and on-call evenings.

We are currently seeking a Cleaner to live and work at one of our properties in Cornwall, ON. This position would require you to live on-site and work four weekdays each week, every second weekend and on-call some evenings. This offer is for an existing vacant position within the organization.

Key Responsibilities of Building Cleaner

• General cleaning of the common areas of the building (Lobbies, elevator, stairwells, windows) and amenity areas (laundry rooms, social rooms) including sweeping, vacuuming & mopping


• Thorough cleaning of vacant suites including cleaning appliances, walls, windows, kitchen, washrooms, balconies


• Exterior cleaning duties including general maintenance of underground garage and parking levels, service rooms, foyers, patios and rooftops (Varies by property) and picking up loose garbage/debris around the property


• Report any serious deficiency about curb appeal or safety or hazard to Resident Manager


• Must be able to work flexible schedule, including weekends


• Must be able to work as part of a team and take direction


• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• 1-2 years related experience


• Customer service skills

• Must be able to lift and push heavy objects (furniture, garbage bins, appliances, etc)


• Excellent written & verbal communication skills


• Ability to perform in a team environment
