Job summary

Peel Region is hiring a Resident Superintendent for Peel Housing Corporation in Brampton/Mississauga. This regular full-time, live-in role oversees maintenance and safety of a residential building, coordinating with contractors and ensuring clean, secure premises for tenants.

The incumbent will handle routine inspections, on-call duties, and unit turnover while maintaining compliance with WHMIS and tenancy regulations. A valid driver's license and mobility are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (or related experience).
• Excellent written and verbal communication with residents and contractors.
• Basic computer skills including MS Word.
• WHMIS knowledge and tenancy act awareness.
• Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle during workday.

Responsibilities

• Maintain interior and exterior of residential building and common areas.
• Monitor and inspect safety equipment and daily logs.
• Coordinate with contractors and supervise repairs.
• Respond to on-site emergencies and on-call weekends/evenings.
• Support tenancy turnover and unit cleanliness per policy.
