About The Role
We are seeking friendly, outgoing, customer-focused individuals to join our team as Sales Associates at our Lloydminster location.

Purpose of Job
Provide exceptional customer service, understand customer needs, participate in stocking and merchandising, and ensure the store is well-stocked and welcoming.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
People Skills
- Be friendly, approachable, and willing to engage with customers
- Communicate effectively
- Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor

Customer Offering
- Greet customers and assist with product selection
- Educate and advise customers to generate sales
- Complete training to maintain product knowledge
- Offer additional services like car delivery when appropriate

Financial
- Handle transactions accurately on POS devices
- Follow cash handling policies
- Perform opening and closing procedures
- Complete end-of-day reports and secure deposits

Day-to-Day Operations
- Perform store opening and closing
- Stock shelves and coolers
- Participate in merchandising and promotional activities
- Maintain cleanliness and store maintenance
- Perform other assigned tasks

Regulatory Adherence
- Comply with OHS, LP, ProServe, and other regulations
- Maintain necessary certifications and training
- Follow government guidelines and company policies

Qualifications
Work Experience
- Minimum 1 year retail experience (preferred)
- Liquor-related experience is an asset

Education
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- ProServe Certification
- First-Aid certification (asset)
- Wine/beer/spirits training (preferred)

Physical Requirements
- Availability for varied schedules including evenings and weekends
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Comfortable climbing ladders

Other Skills and Capabilities

- Ability to pass background checks and have reliable transportation
