Hexagon’s Asset Lifecycle Intelligence division (Hexagon) is seeking a Contract Renewal Associate (Remote - Home Office, any city in Canada) to join a high-energy, customer service-focused, and positive Contract Lifecycle Sales team. The Contract Renewal Associate will facilitate renewals directly with customers, support sales executives and their client base, and contribute to achieving financial and strategic organizational goals. Additionally, the role involves ensuring our vendor status with customers remains active and accurate to accelerate Hexagon revenues.

Responsibilities include:

  1. Renew, up-sell, and close maintenance, service, and license contracts, with a focus on increasing renewal sales.
  2. Prepare quotations and proposals.
  3. Educate customers on business practices and contractual implications.
  4. Ensure customer understanding of product elements.
  5. Contribute to small projects, improvements, and efficiencies.
  6. Gather and analyze basic information as directed.
  7. Update ERP system and Salesforce.
  8. Assist with maintaining vendor systems as required.
  9. Coordinate across teams for timely actions, adhering to best practices.
  10. Provide outstanding internal and external customer service.
Education / Qualifications
  • Reliable high-speed Internet and a dedicated home-office space.
  • Post-secondary education in Business Administration or related field with 2+ years' experience in sales support, customer service, or administration, or 4+ years of related experience.
  • Intermediate/advanced skills in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Basic accounting and math skills.
  • Proactive knowledge sharing and collaboration skills.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to change.
  • Judgment exercise within defined practices.
  • Effective customer relationship management.
  • Attention to detail and quality.
  • Ability to prioritize, work independently, and pursue objectives with limited supervision.
  • Experience in large organizations and familiarity with supplier certification processes.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred qualifications include:

  • Knowledge of Salesforce or similar CRM software.
  • Understanding of CRM principles.
  • Experience in the software industry.
  • Knowledge of contracts and contract systems.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics (Great Plains).
