Job summary

FedEx Dispatch role in Vaughan, Ontario, requires coordinating Linehaul dispatch of transportation equipment to maximize trailer capacity and ensure on-time service. You will follow the Linehaul plan, adhere to dispatch rules, and communicate safety initiatives.

Qualifications

• Dispatch experience preferred.
• High School Diploma or GED required. Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Dispatches transportation equipment per the Linehaul plan.
• Enters dispatch events into a TMS to ensure on-time delivery and pickup of trailers.
• Verifies equipment location via yard inventories and checks load/unload status.
• Investigates schedule delays, accidents and equipment failures and implements contingency plans.
