Responsibilities:
- Meet Product Manager / Assistant Manager for planning/scheduling of production for the next day/week.
- Assign work to crew members and assemble goods in the production area to meet all production deadlines.
- Monitor the production process to meet ISO standards e.g. PWO, Work Instruction, Training, Records.
- Handle material and storage for incoming materials to designated locations, including storage of work in progress goods and excess raw materials.
- Keep workstation clean and free of materials by the end of the day.
- Organize racks for easy and faster access to parts for smoother production for crew members.
- Report issues or problems with production to the immediate supervisor.
- Participate in prototype assembly and train other employees.
- Recommend components, tools, and jigs.
- Able to adapt to changes.
- Commit to continuous improvement.
- Perform other duties assigned by the Production Manager.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Basic computer knowledge required (Microsoft Office).
- Strong people skills including communication and organization skills.
- Must have some leadership or supervisory experience.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple priorities.
