Job description

Line Leader

Responsibilities:

  1. Meet Product Manager / Assistant Manager for planning/scheduling of production for the next day/week.
  2. Assign work to crew members and assemble goods in the production area to meet all production deadlines.
  3. Monitor the production process to meet ISO standards e.g. PWO, Work Instruction, Training, Records.
  4. Handle material and storage for incoming materials to designated locations, including storage of work in progress goods and excess raw materials.
  5. Keep workstation clean and free of materials by the end of the day.
  6. Organize racks for easy and faster access to parts for smoother production for crew members.
  7. Report issues or problems with production to the immediate supervisor.
  8. Participate in prototype assembly and train other employees.
  9. Recommend components, tools, and jigs.
  10. Able to adapt to changes.
  11. Commit to continuous improvement.
  12. Perform other duties assigned by the Production Manager.

Qualifications:

  1. Minimum of 2 years experience in a manufacturing environment.
  2. Basic computer knowledge required (Microsoft Office).
  3. Strong people skills including communication and organization skills.
  4. Must have some leadership or supervisory experience.
  5. Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple priorities.
