Job summary

COGIR Immobilier's Stella residence in Laval seeks a part-time day maintenance person for weekends, 8:00–16:00. You will perform upkeep in common areas and apartments, respond to maintenance requests, and help with minor repairs and cleaning.

The role requires good organization, reliability and physical ability. A professional training in general building maintenance is an asset; training or experience in building upkeep is valued. Salary is commensurate with experience; benefits apply.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and clean the premises.
• Organize or perform all other related tasks for the maintenance department as requested.

• Carry out minor repairs in apartments and common areas (plaster, paint, light changes, etc.).
• Clean and perform floor maintenance in common areas.

Every day, the success of COGIR Immobilier is based on good teamwork between the different departments and on all the people who have joined the company for more than 25 years. Purpose of the position

The Stella residence is currently looking for of a day maintenance person, she will be responsible for carrying out various upkeep and maintenance tasks in common areas and apartments. Day shift, Saturday and Sunday from 8:00 to 4:00 Specifically, your daily life with us will look like :

• Maintain and clean the premises
• Organise or perform all other related tasks regarding the maintenance department, as required and as requested by the immediate superior
• Clear and salt the entrances
• Carry out the maintenance of the premises in accordance to a regular reocurring schedule or as required
• Make service calls
• Minor repairs in apartments and common areas (plaster, paint, change lights, various installations, etc.)
• Cleaning and performing floor maintenance duties in the common areas
