Job summary

ServiceMaster Clean of Fraser Valley is seeking reliable cleaning staff to perform general cleaning duties at client sites. Responsibilities include dusting, vacuuming, mopping, restroom sanitation, waste disposal, and maintaining high-traffic touchpoints.

Applicants should have strong English communication, be detail-oriented, physically capable, and able to work independently or in a team. Weekend shifts and a valid criminal record check may be required.

Responsibilities

• Dust, vacuum, mop and maintain general cleanliness.
• Clean washrooms and restock dispensers.
• Empty garbage and recycling as needed.
• Wet clean horizontal surfaces and fixtures.
• Spot-clean walls and glass surfaces.
• Sanitize high-touch areas and controls.
• Take on additional tasks as assigned.
• Build positive rapport with clients when possible.
• Deliver service that exceeds client expectations.
• Follow all safety and company policy guidelines.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• General dusting, vacuuming, mopping
• Cleaning of washrooms, refilling dispensers
• Emptying garbage and recycling
• Wet cleaning horizontal surfaces
• Spot Cleaning of walls and glass
• Sanitizing touchpoints
• Additional tasks as requested
• Establish positive rapport with clients when possible
• Provide an exceptional level of service that exceeds the expectation of the client
• Conduct all work in accordance with company safety and other workplace policies

QUALIFICATIONS

• Communicate in English both written and verbally
• Strong attention to detail
• Be physically capable of lifting, bending, and performing repetitive tasks
• Flexible, adaptable, and able to work effectively in a variety of settings
• Works well independently and in a team environment
• Be able to work consistent weekend shifts
• A vehicle to commute to work locations
• Have a criminal record check
• Previous cleaning experience in a commercial setting is beneficial
