Job description

Domus Building Cleaning Company Ltd. is looking for qualified Light Duty Cleaners for an immediate position located within the Beacon Hill area. Domus has been in operation for over 50 years with more than 500 employees in multiple provinces and has an excellent reputation as a janitorial services provider.

Competitive Wage Rate of $19.20 per hour to start.

This position is full-time, Monday to Friday, from 7:00 am to 3:00 pm.

This position will require an enhanced level of Government Security Screening.

• You will be required to have a 10-year living history within Canada and no significant time gaps to qualify for the position.

Main Responsibilities:

• Clean assigned areas by sweeping, vacuuming, mopping floor surfaces in assigned areas possibly by use of mechanized cleaning equipment wherever required.
• Collect and dispose of trash in garbage containers on a regular basis.
• Operate floor machines of various types.
• Spot clean walls, ceilings, partitions, light switches, and doors, window sills.
• Wipe and sanitize all public utilities such as public phones, furniture, and door handles.
• Clean the washroom, sanitize, mop, and restock supplies.
• Follow pre-set policies, guidelines, and rules to maintain a safe working environment.
• Other duties and responsibilities as required.
