Job Requirements:
  • No formal education or experience required; training provided
  • Ability to follow instructions
  • Good communication skills are an asset
  • WHMIS certification is an asset
  • Ability to interact with guests and staff tactfully and professionally
  • Professional appearance and manners
Responsibilities:
  • Clean rooms according to hotel standards
  • Maintain knowledge of cleaning chemicals and procedures
  • Respond courteously to guest and staff inquiries, requests, and complaints
  • Record and hand in lost property items
  • Report hazards, maintenance issues, and suspicious activity
  • Operate equipment safely and securely
  • Perform laundry tasks, including sorting, transporting, and folding linens and towels
  • Restock amenities and ensure room security and privacy
  • Make minor repairs as needed
