Job summary

The City of Kelowna is hiring a Part-Time Aquatic Lifeguard to join the Active Living and Culture team at the Parkinson Recreation Centre pool.

Bring your NLS-Pool Option and Standard First Aid certifications along with direct lifeguarding experience. A Criminal Records Check is required, and advanced instructor certifications may lead to additional opportunities for part-time work.

Qualifications

• Criminal Records Check required.
• Swim instructor certification, aqua fitness certification, and/or other advanced instructor certifications are assets and may provide opportunities for part-time work.

This is a CUPE bargaining unit position with an hourly rate progressing from $24.47 to $32.34per hourplus 14% in lieu of benefits, vacation and statutoryholidays.
