Job summary

Maple Nissan, part of Zanchin Automotive Group, is seeking an experienced Automotive Service Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain vehicles in a fast-paced shop in Vaughan, Canada.

You will use diagnostic tools, perform routine maintenance, and ensure quality workmanship while contributing to a team-focused environment. A 310S license and a valid driver’s license are required, with 2–5 years of hands-on experience and a commitment to safety and customer service.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of proven experience as an Automotive Service Technician.
• Post secondary diploma or equivalent experience required.
• 310S Mechanic License in good standing.
• Valid Driver's License and clean driving record required.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
• Strong communication and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and identify vehicle repair and/or malfunction.
• Perform repairs and maintenance efficiently and in accordance with company and manufacturer guidelines.
• Inspect engine, drive tests, and diagnose faults using diagnostic tools.
• Inspect and repair vehicle computer and electronic systems.
• Perform routine maintenance to ensure longevity and reliability.
• Document all work on repair orders.
• Road test vehicles as required.

The expected pay rate for this role is $36.00 to $38.00 per hour, plus performance bonus, based on experience and qualifications.

About The Opportunity.

• diagnose and identify vehicle repair and/or malfunction
• perform the vehicle repair or maintenance efficiently and accurately, based on the company and manufacturer guidelines and standards
• inspect vehicle engine in operation, road test motor vehicle, and test automotive systems and components using computerized diagnostic and other testing devices to diagnose and isolate faults
• inspect vehicle computer and electronic systems to repair, maintain and upgrade
• perform routine maintenance work to ensure the functionality and longevity of the vehicle
• adjust, repair, or replace parts and components of automotive systems including fuel system, brakes, steering and suspension, engine and drive train, emission control and exhaust, cooling and climate control, and electrical and electronic systems using hand tools and other specialized automotive repair equipment
• document all vehicle repair and maintenance performed, on the repair order
• road tests vehicles, as required

About You.

• 2 to 5 years of proven experience as an Automotive Service Technician
• Post Secondary School diploma or equivalent experience
• 310S Mechanic License in good standing
• ability to operate manual and automatic transmission vehicles
• Driver's License and clean Drivers Abstract
• ability to adapt to a changing environment and meet deadlines
