Job summary

Mercedes-Benz Maple, part of Zanchin Automotive Group, is seeking an experienced Apprentice Technician to join the Team in Maple, ON. The role focuses on basic maintenance and repairs with a strong emphasis on quality and safety within a high-energy dealer environment.

You will work Monday to Thursday and Saturday from 8:00am to 5:00pm, earning $27.74 to $29.47 per hour based on experience. The group offers benefits, tools, ongoing training, and opportunities for career advancement within the

• 1 to 3 years proven experience as a Lube/Tire Apprentice Technician.
• Post Secondary School diploma, or equivalent experience.
• Ability to operate manual and automatic transmission vehicles.
• Driver's License and clean Driver's Abstract.

Responsibilities

• Perform vehicle maintenance and repair on customer and dealership vehicles.
• Communicate with the Service Advisor and Shop Foreman to provide updates.
• Document all vehicle repair and maintenance on the repair order.
• Road test vehicles as required.

The expected pay rate for this role is$27.74 to$29.47 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.

About the opportunity…

As an integral part of the “we can do that” operation, this position is responsible for performing vehicle maintenance and repair on customer and dealership vehicles, while developing practical skills. Specifically:

• Monday - Thursday and Saturday from 8:00am to 5:00pm
• perform basic vehicale care and maintenance, including oil change, lubrication work, filter replacement, and tire rotation/replacement
• communicate with the Service Advisor and Shop Foreman to provide updates regarding the vehicle
• document all vehicle repair and maintenance performed, on the repair order
• road tests vehicles, as required

About you…

Ideal candidates will have a strong background and proven experience performing vehicle maintenance, including:

• 1 to 3 years proven experience as a Lube/Tire Apprentice Technician
• Post Secondary School diploma, or equivalent experience
• ability to operate manual and automatic transmission vehicles
• Driver's License and clean Drivers Abstract
• ability to adapt to a changing environment and meet deadlines
• ability to communicate professionally (verbally and written)
