About The Job

The Licensed Practical Nurse:

• Coordinates Home Support Services by supervising Licensed Practical Nurses (CCLPNs), Community Health Workers (CHWs), and other unregulated team members, overseeing client care plan implementation, providing training and evaluation, and advocating for care improvements.
• Performs assessments, makes nursing diagnoses, and provides personal and nursing care for clients in a community health setting in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.
• Operates within the scope of practice outlined by the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM), adhering to organizational policies, procedures, standards, and protocols.

This is a casual opportunity. Casual employees are not guaranteed hours and may work from 0 to 37.5 hours per week on an as-needed basis.

Shifts will be scheduled days, rotating from 08:00 to 16:00 hours.
