About The Job

The Licensed Practical Nurse:

1. Coordinates Home Support Services by supervising Licensed Practical Nurses (CCLPNs), Community Health Workers (CHWs), and other unregulated team members. Oversees the implementation of client care plans, provides training, evaluates staff care, and advocates for improvements in client care.
2. Performs assessments, makes nursing diagnoses, and provides personal and nursing care for clients in a community health setting in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.
3. Operates within the competency guidelines and full scope of practice as outlined by the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM), adhering to organizational policies, procedures, standards, and protocols.

This is a casual opportunity. Casual employees are not guaranteed hours and may work from 0 to 37.5 hours per week on an as-needed basis. Shifts are scheduled days and evenings, rotating from 07:00 to 15:00, 08:00 to 16:00, and 13:00 to 21:00 hours.
