Job summary

AgeCare is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our care team in British Columbia. Reporting to the Director of Care, you will provide goal-directed, patient-centered nursing care, maintain assessments, care plans, and medication administration in line with provincial standards.

You will collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, support care conferences, assist with transitions, educate residents and families, and supervise unregulated care providers as needed.

Qualifications

  • Current registration as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in the applicable province.
  • Experience in senior care or long-term care preferred.
  • CPR and First Aid certification is required or kept up to date.

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct nursing care and administer medications and treatments per policies.
  • Maintain accurate resident assessments, care plans, and documentation.
  • Coordinate care with physicians and interdisciplinary team members.
  • Educate residents and families about health conditions and care plans.
  • Support infection prevention, safety initiatives and quality improvement.

Conditions may apply; please contact us for details.Join Our Team as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN):Make a meaningful impact while growing your career in a supportive, person-centered environment.The OpportunityReporting to the Director of Care, the Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) plays a key role in delivering goal-directed, patient-focused nursing care in accordance with provincial standards.
