Job summary

Alberta Health Services is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join the Acute Care and Emergency Room team at Barrhead Healthcare Centre. This temporary, part-time role (0.50 FTE) supports patient and family centered care across day, evening, night shifts, with a 7.75 hour shift length.

Reporting to the interprofessional team, you will hold an active or eligible LPN license with CLHA, maintain BCLS-HCP certification, and bring rural acute care experience.

Required Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited practical nurse education program.

• Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS‑HCP).

Additional Required Qualifications

• Rural acute care experience in past 2 years.
• IV initiation certificate and or proof of competency.

Preferred Qualifications

• CTAS.
• ACLS.
