Job summary

Alberta Health Services is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse for the Rural ER and Medicine unit at Devon General Hospital in Devon, AB. The position is 0.70 FTE on a temporary part-time basis with shifts including days, evenings, nights and weekends, starting 01-OCT-2026 and ending 27-SEP-2027.

On-site role with additional benefits and a structured rotation. Active CLHA registration or eligibility, BCLS-HCP, and accreditation in practical nursing are required.

Qualifications

• Licensed Practical Nurse education completed and eligible for CLHA registration.
• Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP).

Required Qualifications

Completion of an accredited practical nurse education program. Active or eligible for registration and a practice permit as a Licensed Practical Nurse with the College of LPNs and HCAs of Alberta (CLHA). Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP).
