Job summary

Alberta Health Services in Lacombe is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join the Continuing Care team at Lacombe Hospital & Care Centre. You will work with an interprofessional care team, following care plans and nursing processes to provide safe, patient- and family-centered care aligned with legal standards and organizational values.

This Regular Part Time position requires completion of an accredited LPN program, active registration with CLPHA, and BCLS-HCP.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited practical nurse education program.
• Active or eligible for registration and a practice permit as a Licensed Practical Nurse with the College of LPNs and HCAs of Alberta (CLHA).
• Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP).

Your Opportunity

Lacombe Continuing Care Facility is a 73 bed unit, including some Medically Complex Care beds, that provides personal care to residents under the direction of a registered nurse in accordance with established care plans, and provides encouragement, emotional support, and will ensure the dignity of the resident is maintained at all times.
