Job summary

Alberta Health Services is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join Brooks Home Care in Brooks, Alberta. You will work as part of an interprofessional team to provide patient- and family-centered care, guided by standards, policies, and procedures.

This 0.70 FTE, temporary part-time position offers days, evenings, and weekends with a rotation pattern. Minimum salary $33.16 and maximum $43.42 per hour, with 7.75-hour shifts and a six-week rotation.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited practical nurse education program.
• Active or eligible for registration and a practice permit as a Licensed Practical Nurse with CLHA.
• Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP).

Required Qualifications:

Additional Required Qualifications:

Applicable seniors health education courses an asset (NVCI, Supportive Pathways, Wound care).

Preferred Qualifications:

A minimum 2 years’ experience in geriatric care. Knowledge of computer applications Connect Care/Care Manager/Microsoft Outlook, Connect Care).
